What Is Wholeness In Your Sex Life?
GOD’S WILL FOR YOU

1Thessalonians 4:3, “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication…”
When God created and fashioned us, He did it with sex in mind.
Our very bodies were designed as male and female to be perfectly fit together in sexual unity. But actually, God had a higher purpose and we were really designed with covenant in mind.
Our sexuality is a physical expression of our covenant relationship. God did not create Adam and Eves nor did He create Eve and Adams. He created one man for one woman. He created us for Covenant Sexuality.

Matthew 19:4-6, “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
Now because our God is a good God, He created us in such a way that it would be easy for us to be faithful to just one man or woman.
You may be thinking that sure hasn't been the case in my life. That's because of the fallen state of man and because of sin. God's first plan needed to be revised through salvation. But it didn't change how He created us. He created us for covenant sexuality.
FOUR THINGS SEXUALITY IS:
1. Spiritual
2. Physical
3. Mental
4. Emotional
THE POWER OF DESIRE
Desire that has become imprinted on our very sexual nature deep within us will indeed need deliverance, but we also need the “Fire of God” to purify and wipe our sexual slate clean.
THREE THINGS YOUR DESIRE WILL DO:
1. Lead you
2. Form your Imagination
3. Create your World
UNDISCIPLINED DESIRES
There is a way of living which may be likened to the horse that lies down in harness and won't move; and there is the other way which may be likened to the horse that runs away and breaks the harness and smashes everything.
Abundant living has to find the poise between the two, you have to find something between lying down and running away; it must find the constructive, but disciplined, life.
Desires are the God-given forces of the personality and as such are right. Without desire life would turn back to the vegetable and vegetate. Buddha tried to make man victorious over the desires of life by cutting the root of desire itself, so that man would go out into desirelessness, into Nirvana. But you cannot cure the ills of life by reducing life; you cannot get rid of your headaches by getting rid of your head.
The remedy of life is not less life, but more life. You must have enough inward life to master outer environment and circumstance.
But if life is to be raised, it can only be raised through disciplined desire. The only way to overcome a desire is to replace it by a higher desire, or to fasten the already existing desire upon higher ends and higher goals.
Desires are the driving forces, and driving forces cannot be taken out of life they must be redirected through discipline of God’s Word.
REDIRECTING YOUR SEXUAL ENERGY
Napoleon Hill calls the power of redirecting sexual energy transmuting. To transmute means the change or transform of one element of our energy into another.
Sex transmutation is simple and easily explained. It means the switching of the mind from thoughts of physical expression to thoughts of some other nature.
Sex desire is a powerful human desire. The transmutation of sex energy calls for the exercise of the will power, to be sure but the reward is worth the effort.

Isaiah 58:14, “Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”
UNGODLY DESIRE IMPRINTED ON OUR SOUL
Wrong desire said, deep down in the hind places of the heart such as
“I know it is wrong but I do not what to stop it”.
Know that JESUS came to set us free!

John 8:36, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
We must take hold of the fact that JESUS CHRIST is a redeeming, restoring God who is not going to leave our sexual part of our life in darkness.
Sex is a essential area of our lives to God. But, if we don't understand our sexuality, we won't even know what to ask God for. Understanding our sexuality helps us to know why we desperately need this area of our lives to be purified and renewed. God can heal you if you believe!
