Birthing New Moves of God
By SharaLee S. Ward
There are many theories proposed as to why Satan chose to deceive Eve. One theory that intrigues me is the idea that Satan targeted Eve rather than Adam because she can reproduce.
God is a creative God and He is the only person or entity who has always existed. God created Satan and we can read the account in Isaiah 14:12-15. Satan was designed to be an angel of light, a commander in Heaven. He became proud and wanted to be like God and was cast down from Heaven. Satan can only pervert what God has created for good. He can not create something out of nothing. We can see how Satan would have a deep seeded anger toward woman.
God created man and woman out of love, His desire to have companionship, and in His likeness. He loves us so much that His design was that we would co-labor with Him to establish His Kingdom on the earth. Just as a woman conceives life in her womb that must come to full term before delivery, so in the body of Christ it is conceivable that she also conceives the new moves of God to birth in His time.
Unveiling this revelation is really encouraging bringing liberation for woman to understand God’s purposes. This is an incredibly important role God has designed women to play in the Kingdom. For so many years women have been played down and men have been raised up in the success and progression of the church.
Those of us who are sensitive to what God is doing we know that He is turning the government of the church upside down, because in His Kingdom what seems right side up is actually upside down. I believe that as the times and seasons are quickly pushing into the latter end of this age God is bringing revelation into what His original design was for both man and woman.
Men of God are being drawn into deeper love relationships with God, in doing so the Holy Spirit is bringing conviction to areas where women have been mistreated. Satan has deceived us to believe that exclusively women are to love and men are to war, but when we pray and agree with the opposite spirit, that we are designed for more than just what the church has labeled us, he has no power to fuel the lie.
Many of us have witnessed women who are some of the best warriors in the Spirit and men who are some of the most compassionate lovers. So we can confidently confirm that concept is a lie. I believe as the months and years progress, people of God in His church are learning to honor one another in their God given gifts, impressed in their DNA as a man or woman.
God made women more sensitive, it is obvious and in our DNA, but I believe this is also reflective in our spiritual senses. We often know what God is doing or wanting to do before the men do. This could easily become a pride issue for women, but just as men are stronger in some areas, this is where we can shine. Just like carrying a child for 9 months until delivery, women play the role of carrying and birthing into existence what God is doing. This is a deep form of intercession. Women are beginning to understand their importance. I believe we’re beginning to see where God has given us prophetic words and dreams in the past, we are thankful and excited about what He is going to do, but we don’t know how to carry and nurture those words of life to fruition.
Luke 8:5-8, 11-15 says:
"A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up. Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown." When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
"This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop."
Like Jesus explained in the parable of the sewer and the seeds, if we don’t know how to protect, nurture and grow the seed it will be aborted by the enemy.
Women of God grab a hold of this and run with it. Like Mary who God chose to carry the Christ child, no matter how unbelievable something God has said may seem at the time of conception, we must partner with the Holy Spirit and to reiterate Mary’s sentiments “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.”
Heavenly Father, we come to you filled with thankfulness for your loving kindness. Thank you for creating us in your likeness and choosing to grow your seed in us. Open our eyes Lord to understand this revelation on carrying your purposes. Lord, make this a reality in our lives and in your church so we may bring to term and birth forth your purposes for Jesus sake. Amen.
